  • QIC

BBS has provided media relations, government relations and issues management services to QIC for the past six years.

They play a vital role in positioning QIC as one of Australia’s leading financial institutions and have helped build QIC’s strong reputation in the funds management industry.

Their extensive network of contacts ensures they have an up-to-the-minute understanding of the current media and political climates.

Importantly, the BBS team takes the time to understand the specific needs of our organisation and then develops effective strategies to meet our communication objectives.

  • Eagle Boys Pizza

BBS add tremendous value to our franchise network, both at a franchisor level and also in their direct dealings with our network of over 280 franchised pizzas stores. From extending our consumer promotions to raising our corporate profile, BBS are true communications professionals. We put BBS under a great deal of pressure to deliver cut-through in a cluttered category and they continue to deliver.

  • Retail Food Group

Retail Food Group is a leading Australian retail food brand franchisor and used BBS’ financial and investor relations services when it listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2006.

Specifically, RFG used BBS to develop and implement a media strategy to proactively manage inquiries from financial journalists across Australia. Listing on the ASX was a very important time for our company requiring strict control over our messages to the business community.

After our successful listing, we have continued to use BBS to generate positive media coverage about RFG’s annual results and major announcements.

  • EDAW AECOM

BBS have been an integral part of the EDAW communications team, working with us on media relations, perception research and employee communication for the last six years.

Working closely with the BBS team over this time I have found them to be highly professional, dedicated and experienced in their advice and service delivery.

The BBS team has worked closely with all our Australian offices over this period, during which we have undertaken a number of significant mergers and changes of brand identity. Throughout these events their input has been highly valuable.

  • Urban Land Development Authority (ULDA)

BBS has worked with the ULDA since it was formed in November 2007.

They have been an integral part of the ULDA communications team, working with us on stakeholder relations, media relations and community consultation.

They also assisted us in developing all of our start up communications materials, including website, fact sheets, image library, newsletters, and other communication templates.

They have extensive experience and knowledge in working in both the private and public sector.

I have found them to be professional and competent in their work with us, in both their advice and their service delivery.

  • Troon Golf

Since 2002, BBS has assisted Troon Golf and the facilities under our management to cement our position as leaders and innovators in the industry of golf course management, marketing and development. Without the great work of BBS we would not have achieved the position that we currently enjoy amongst the business and golfing communities. BBS’s professional approach to public relations and the wider field of Marketing Communications has greatly assisted the development of the Troon Golf brand and importantly enhanced the commercial success of the golf courses we manage.

  • Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Foundation

BBS worked with the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Foundation on our end of financial year fundraising appeal in 2007.

The fundraising appeal broke our records for both total donations received and average donation, raising vital funds for research into the vaccines and treatments of the future.

The appeal was based on a direct mail campaign, with BBS writing the copy for the mail out after interviews with key staff and researchers. BBS was a pleasure to work with; we found them to be professional, they made the project enjoyable, and we were very pleased with the result.

  • Southbank Institute of Technology

I write to thank BBS for the excellent support given to the Southbank Education and Training Precinct project during the construction phase 2005 to 2008. I am particularly mindful of the intensive communication effort that was extended to keep staff, students and community abreast of construction activity and the constant change it brought to day to day operations. It is to the great credit of BBS that the Institutes business continued uninterrupted during this phase. All students safely finding their way to new buildings and classrooms without disruption. I congratulate the Axiom Consortium on their choice of BBS to undertake this task. The BBS professionalism and their courteous engagement, diligence and timeliness contributed to what has been one of Australia’s most successful Public Private Partnerships to date. The presence of BBS as and integral team member in the SETP family ensured that all SETP activities were appropriately communicated to clients, community and general media. The SETP has been a significant project and features many remarkable outcomes. BBS can rightly share the success of this project, and the appreciation of the SETP project team is offered accordingly.
