Careers
BBS Communications, Public Relations & Business Advisors is dedicated to the ongoing professional development of all staff and encourages a fun, challenging and results-oriented work environment. We offer our staff the opportunity to advance their skills and map out a genuine career path.
We encourage people from all backgrounds to submit their interest in joining the team.
BBS also regularly offers internships and work experience placements for public relations and journalism students.
BBS Internship Program
BBS offers a formal internship program, giving final-year students the opportunity to "get their hands dirty” at the coalface of PR.
How will the Internship Program Work?
Successful interns will be expected to complete a specific number of hours, as set by your university and sign a confidentiality agreement.
Interns will be expected to complete one week full-time, with the remainder of your hours completed by attending BBS one to two days a week.
Each intern will be “attached” to one of our client service teams, enabling them to gain an in-depth understanding of client work.
How do I apply?
In March and July/Aug, BBS will call for applicants to the internship program. Final-year students from all universities are eligible to apply.
Interested final-year students will have to submit an application, a resume and two samples of work. Short-listed candidates will be interviewed and asked to complete a simple writing test.
August 2008 applications will close on Monday August 4, 2008.
Please download and complete the attached PDF file, attach your resume and sample work, then forward to the Corporate Services Manager as per details below.
